Leaks

This dishwasher replaced a previous GE under manufacturer's warranty that kept leaking and was repaired numerous times. The dishwasher leaked through my floor boards into my basement in my 1 month old brand new-build home due to a drain hose that was defective! Several months later the seal needed to be replaced because water was dripping out the side (the same problem my previous dishwasher had that needed to be replaced by this model! Terrible experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my new dishwasher!

The slate finish on this appliance is beautiful and I love that it does not smudge like stainless steel. It looks more modern too! The bottle jets inside for baby bottles, water bottles or cups that need an extra wash come in handy! The cycle takes a while if you choose both top and bottom wash but I think it works best that way anyway. Get this appliance and you won't be disappointed!

BOUGHT THIS FOR A NEW HOME. IT WORKS GREAT CLEANING BUT THE HEATED DRY DOES NOT SEEM TO WORK WELL, OR IT IS NOT WORKING AT ALL. I HAVE A SERVICE CALL OUT TO GE. WE WILL SEE HOW IT GOES FROM THERE.

Quiet Dishwasher

I've had this dishwasher for a couple weeks now and love how quiet it is. Our kitchen opens up into our great room, and we can run the dishwasher without the bother of a noisy machine. The slate finish is smudge proof so the machine stays looking great!
