Gets dishes clean and dry

This basic dishwasher does exactly what it is supposed to do..get my dishes clean. I use temperature boost, but not power dry and my dishes are dry after a few hours of airing after the cycle is complete.
Why not 5 stars? I find the top rack is not sufficiently slanted in most sections to allow for water to run off the bottom of upside down mugs. I also find top rack loading to be inefficient, as glasses must be spaced along the crossbars so as to not tip over. More an annoyance than a problem.

Good price-cheaply made

From beginning had trouble starting wash. Turns out latch was broken. Three service calls later, it might be working ok. Made with cheap plastic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our new GE Dishwasher is great, it is a good quality product for the money and it does a great job cleaning the dishes.

Spacious and Quiet

I've owned a GE dishwasher for 12 years and never had one problem with it. I replaced it with this new GE and have been thrilled. It is very spacious. It is extremely quiet. And I absolutely love the slate. It shows no fingerprints; it's easy to use, and it even indicates when dishes are clean. I highly recommend this appliance.

Only thing missing is a rinse only cycle

I bought this dishwasher back in February and it has performed without any problems. Much quieter than the older dishwasher it replaced. Personally, I like the display and buttons in the front (just a personal preference).
I am on well water so the Sani Cycle ability was important to me. At first, we had an issue with the rinse-aid running out quickly. This was solved by just changing the brand of rinse-aid we used. If you are on well water, you may have minerals, etc., that can alter how much detergent you use, how your rinse-aid works, etc. So if you are on well water, before you think something is wrong with the dishwasher, just change what cleaning products you use in the dishwasher (as I did with my rinse aid). With the different brand of rinse aid everything is working perfectly.
Without mentioning store names, I also want to say I purchased my dishwasher from an actual appliance store. They can give customer service beyond other stores; in fact the GE Rep comes in to talk to them it seems weekly, just to check on things. I passed along my rinse-aid experience which was told to the GE Rep, so maybe it will help someone else in a similar situation.
The only thing this model of dishwasher does not have that I wish it did is a quick rinse only cycle. Other than that, it has worked out well.

my husband brought me this new appliances for my twenty-six wedding anniversary three weeks ago. I'm very happy with them. love my stove with the griddle....I just can't stop baking.happy happy!!

This machine was a replacement for a very old dishwasher. Had I known that I would be so pleased, I would have purchased it sooner. The features are user-friendly, and everything comes out sparkling clean.
