We just moved in to our new home. This product is included with the house. We used this dishwasher (GE) and it wasn't drying the dishes at all. Usually when you open the door the steam should come out, but this one didn't. I'm so disappointed of this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have purchased GE appliances several times in the past and have they have always served me well. We remodeled recently and as part of the work upgraded the appliances. We chose to stay with GE because of past success.

I like the double jet blades and bottle wash cycle. It's nice you can also wash just the upper rack or just the lower rack, which comes in handy because the lower rack has bars spaced further apart for bigger items so once all your cups and bowls fill up the top rack it's hard to utilize the bottom rack to stack them. I did take a star away because all the dish soap seems to leave behind a glob of soap in the dispenser after washing. Sometimes it's smeared on the dishes and I have to re wash. Liquid soap is the ONLY option for this washer.

Had bought a different major brand dishwasher last year that only lasted 6 months. This is my first GE dishwasher and I love it! Very quiet, cleans thoroughly (recommends using the power packs, not liquid or powders), I really like this machine. Would definitely recommend and purchase again!

This dishwasher seriously cleans. Tea stains removed from plastic cups that scrubbing couldn't.

This is a great dishwasher in terms of cleaning dishes and the slate finish does not show finger prints and looks fabulous.
