I've never had a dishwasher so quiet. I love all the small boxes for small utensils, pacifiers, etc

I did research before I bought this. boy, I wish I had paid more attention to negative comments. yes, it is quiet. BUT:
the layout is horrendous. you struggle to find a way to make normal things like bowls fit on top shelf. there is a bump in the middle, so you can't put them there. when you move to one side or other you run in to cups and glasses. glasses do not stand up on top shelf. bottom shelf has two different widths for plates. if you happen to use more small plates, don't try to put them on the other row. those spikes are too far apart for smaller plates. it does poor job on cleaning plastic containers. the bottom shelf falls off track very easily. even if you use heated dry, the machine is very wet when it is supposedly finished. I had had to wipe it dry.

A very nice looking machine. The controls are on the front, so they are easy to read. The controls are very simple to understand. Love the water bottle jets.

Get dishes CLEAN

Had this unit for about 3 months and initially wasn't happy causing it would seal right and leaked!! However GE's tech replaced the door and some inner parts and it's great now. I think the delivery guys smashed it up some. Anyway, there are TONS of features/options. The pre clean steam clean works great and the dishes are super clean. It's pretty quiet too. My biggest disappointments and the reason it's not 5 star rated is, it's not quite big capacity wise, the dishes don't dry great without Jet Dry and most of all the wash time is horrendously long, I mean ridiculous!! 2 hours for regular, 3 hours plus if you want to and sani-wash and heated dry & FIVE HOURS of you want everything. Like it overall and would recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!
