Extremely quiet operation

I love this dishwasher, it is so quiet I don't mind turning it on during the day. I used to wait until bed time to start the old one due to noise.

Large Capacity for dishes

Not Very Quiet

This model is supposed to be somewhat quiet. The motor has a high pitched hum that you can hear three rooms away. This problem existed with two washers as I sent the first one back for this condition hoping the second one would eliminate the problem. I also added more insulation when I installed the second one but that was no help. It's not that the hum is loud, it's that the frequency of the hum is high causing it to be very noticeable. If you are sensitive to noise stay away from this model. Other than this issue, it is a nice dishwasher for the price and does not have the clothes snagging handle in the front.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just want it to work...

Water would not push up to the top rack, which then made this level useless. We could only run a 'heavy' cycle if we wanted the dishes cleaned. Left residue all over inside, regardless of the dish detergent we used. (On 5th type now...)
Also- the place where you put the dis detergent is poorly placed, as the silverware holder hits up against it and sometimes does not allow it to 'pop' open during cycle.

This has left us with misery, just wish we could get another dishwasher. Had this unit for 1 year now. Also- its cycle takes 221 minutes!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
