GE Dishwasher Slate Color

I love the style, the slate color and it works fine so far except my husband had to reattach the bottom sprayer arm which wobbles. I would suggest that the front silverware rack be improved by making the rack a uniform height so the silverware sits better. I have not bought any appliances for 22 years so I am disappointed on how much plastic is being used in all the new appliances. My old GE dishwasher was still in great shape, sturdier and in working order. Almost wish I did not get the new one except my updated kitchen would have looked odd.

Excellent dishwasher

I read a lot of reviews and researched a lot of different brands before choosing this GE which seems to snag 4 stars or more in most reviews. I'm very happy with it; it has more features than I thought I would get at an affordable price point. Consumer Reports suggested looking for a dishwasher with a one-hour cycle, which this model has. The mag also said you don't necessarily need a stainless steel tub; this model does not, which is fine. Its relatively quiet, not as quiet as higher end dishwashers, but not obtrusive. Does everything its supposed to do, cleans very well, has an option to do only an upper or lower load to save energy. I also love the little jets for washing bottles.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We got this one to match our other new appliances. It's a bit small, but it works very well. It a dishwasher; I'm not expecting miracles.

Great looking and quiet

I've only used this once but I was very very pleased with how quiet it was. The first setting I used was auto sense and it took 110 minutes to wash with a no heat dry. This was only a medium load, so that is a concern to me that it took so long to do a load. Seems a little cheap looking inside.
But I'm 100% please with the look and how quiet it is.
