I've tried generic, but the ink cartridge does not work well. Needs HP cartridge and it is expensive. Definitely not for kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My ink cartridges was delivered so fast, and my order is always correct. This is so easier than going to a store and getting there to find out they are out of my type of cartridges. I love this online ordering. I live about 30 miles away from the shopping hub in my area, and I wanted the original ink cartridges, so this is so convenient.

I bought this because I ran out of ink printing tax returns. Took a day longer then expected to receive. The print quality is good, they were easy to install. Only complaint is ink for HP printers are ridiculously expensive.

After experiencing problems with re manufactured ink cartridges, I purchased the HP brand cartridges on May 22. These cartridges worked well for about two weeks before my Photosmart D110 again stopped cooperating. The display on my printer reads " At least one of the Cartridges has a problem". I have followed the instructions found on HP forums that suggest cleaning the contacts with deionized water, powering off the unit, etc. without resolving the issue. At this point, I am unsure of what else to do. HP forums suggest that this is a somewhat common issue for the HP Photosmart D110.
