[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the ease of installing HP ink cartridges in my HP Photo Smart printer / copier. Ink prints sharp and no smudges ever. The cartridges are compact and easy to handle and easy to remove.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not what I expected, 5 sheets printed with blue, cartridge does not print anymore blue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi,
That doesn't sound very satisfying. I was sorry to hear about this.
When it appears that the product was defective when you got it, you can look into returning or exchanging it. Instructions for that are at: store.hp.com/us/en/cv/returnsandexchanges
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ink is long lasting and is easy to keep in stock. It is nice that the cartridges can be returned for recycling.
I printed approx 15 black pages of words and the next time I tryed to print, both the black and the color cartridges were showing empty. Short life?

Hi David,
I am sorry that the ink seemed to run out too quickly. That is unfortunate, but I hope to help you with that.
Here are some things that might help get the cartridges to last longer: - Use the printer's draft mode whenever possible, to help stretch out both black and colored ink - When appropriate, you can change the settings to print black only. then areas that would use color will print out in shades of gray and save the tricolor cartridge. - Always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying - Shutting the printer down between uses will save electricity and a few drops of ink here and there that are used to keep the inkjets cleared and ready for your next print job
