Awesome Smartphone

I was happy with my GS4 but I'm extremely happy with my Galaxy S6. Greatvl phone - fantastic camera. Miss the ability to select all in the email app.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

I had S 4 before, so this was a nice upgrade. I love the way it looks. The curved screen makes watching TV or photos an awesome experience. It's like a 3 D optical illusion. It might be harder to grip but that's why I bought a cover with ridges to prevent any accidental slippage. I also got a shield because the screen do protrude on the sides even with the cover. Unfortunately the cover touch the shield right at the edge and it has a tendency to lift it. So, if you do not mind pushing it down while you play with your phone, it's a great protection. The phone itself is great, The display has beautiful colors, it' s a joy to watch TV on it. It' s actually very bright, so I keep mine on the lower scale. The battery last me day sometimes two, but I use it for watching TV, listening to music in the car or at home and social media. The fast charger is awesome, especially if you find out you got to go out and your battery is down to 30 %. So, while you putting make up on and doing your hair, it charges to 100% and you are ready to go. Camera is great, it seems it got a wider focus. I got short arms and suddenly I can take a pic of my whole body from the right angle. Was not possible with S 4. Also the beauty filter is amazing. I am not a star but I feel like one when I use it. I wish the rear camera had more options, like the rich colors or night time like my old phone did. But then it got more new features to compensate. It would be nice if the phone had a SD card slot, but you get 100 GB from cloud storage, so it' s fine. It' s just a new way of doing things. The fingerprint reader is a mess. It was working fine before I put a cover on the phone. But with the cover it reads it only 5% of the time. It will be upsetting to put your long password on every time you mess up the finger read until you just give up and choose another screen lock form. The side board for the names and apps is fun. You can always have your VIP's there for fast dial up. The only thing that drove me nuts (beside the finger print screen lock) was the initial set up. I did mine over the phone and had to do it all by myself and it was never ending! all those agreements, click yes here, wait, click yes there. Ah. So, if you have the chance, let somebody else do it. So overall, I would get it again and again.

This was as birthday gift to me, and I love it. Finger scan, heart scan, 4K recording, and quad core processor is all I need to go with my day, no my life. I am also a gamer and with that processor, no lag and good Wi-Fi and LTE is the way to go. Samsung Galaxy S6 is the true pocket computer for those that are in gaming, tech, or have work to do.
Pros: Realistic color, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, better processor
Cons: needs a case to grip

It does what I need, but battery life is a problem

I have had the phone for about a month now, and it performs all the tasks that I need my smart phone to do. Installation of the apps I had installed on my previous phone went without a hitch. Installation of widgets is not intuitive. (You have to pinch your fingers together, and then you'll see a widget function at the bottom of the screen.) My main criticism is that it runs down the battery quickly, even though I close down all applications and turn off the screen after each use. And, I don't use it much -- two or three phone calls a day, a few texts, listening to a one-half hour podcast in the morning, playing a couple rounds of Words with Friends, and adding a few items from time to time to my lists on Our Groceries. It also serves as my alarm clock in the morning. I also would prefer a slightly smaller phone.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Too big, poor battery life
