Quick wash times, large capacity, and cleans well!

This washer was selected based on the 35 to 40 minute full wash cycle and being top load. Most of the other washers out there had wash cycles of well over an hour. It can be slightly noisy when it is sensing and balancing the load at the beginning of a wash cycle, where the water goes on and off and the washer spins and stops several times as a normal function prior to washing. It spin dries so fast at the end of the cycle, it sometimes seems like it is going to shake across the floor, but it stays in place on my linoleum floor. It washes very well and the clothes are fairly dry after the wash from the fast spinning. If there are sheets or towels being washed, on occasion the sheets or towels may twist around other clothing during the spin cycle and end up as a twisted ball at the end of the cycle, but it is not too difficult to untwist and separate. I have been using this washer for 4 months now, and it is amazing. I hope it holds up well past its 10 year powertrain warranty.

Very quiet machine. Found out that dirty barn clothes don't come clean unless you use heavy duty cycle with extra water/rinse cycle.
Would like to have a bell sound when wash cycle is completed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had this wash machine for a few months now. Over all wonderful. It did take some time getting used to it and understanding everything it could do but being patient paid off. From quick wash to soaking for dirty laundry for two hrs. etc., so many things that a REAL wash machine should do. My only criticism is its a little noisy but in time got used to it. Does a great job in cleaning all types of things, towels, dirty jeans, bedding etc., etc. A good investment for the dollar. Hope it last as long as our other machine. We'll see, happy so far.

This machine needs to be nationally recalled and all customers compensated. Just look at all the dissolving drum pictures. Every single one of these washers are going to this and I am reading that they are unserviceable. Everyone that bought this washer, start looking now for something other than GE. This one is less than 5 years old.

Worst Washing machine ever

We upgraded to this GE model within the first month of the previous model constantly going off balance and GE just wanting to repair most of it but the the vendor stood behind it being less than 30 days old. This one does the same thing. Constantly have to stop it and re-position the load. Plan to have GE come and look at it but these units are terrible.

I read prior reviews before purchasing this washer and decided the majority were good. After having the washer for only two months, my experience is not the same. They've tried to repair it on three different visits and I still do not have a working washing machine. After three weeks without a working machine, I'm left battling for a replacement. Would not recommend this experience to anyone!!

WORST Machine in History

This machine will not spin at the end of cycles. 4 months old, 3 visits by technicians, no fix! Tried EVERYTHING. Will only drive you crazy and make you lose sleep.
