Finally broke down and got something new

Flaws, but dries

I’ve had the dryer a month, lace trim on clothing get stuck in the sensor bars, along with any hair that remains from the wash. I’ve also had a toddler t shirt get stuck causing melting of the design on his shirt. However if your ok with getting holes and vinyl getting caught and melting this dryer is great, if you care about your clothing than this dryer isn’t for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Machine!

We have had our dryer sinceJuly the 4th and it has been so nice to have a quite and user friendly appliance. The efficiency of this machine is top of the line with the built in GE settings already pre-programmed into the machine for any type of material and size load possible plus settings can changed by the operator. If you are in the market for an affordable top of line appliance look no more this is the machine for you and your family.

Must have gotten a lemon

I bought this dryer and had it delivered and installed on 11/4/17. When the guy installed it it turned on and worked. I did a load of small towels and put in the dryer. Ran the dryer for 20 minutes and paused it to check to see if they were dry and they were still damp so I shut the door and try to start and nothing. It turns on but when you hit the start button nothing. I tried a time or two later and nothing so I left and came back two hours later and it started. Ran it for 10 minutes and paused and it wouldn't start again.( its been sitting for over 2 hours and still won't turn on) Just very frustrated. Not sure if I am going to keep this GE set or go with another brand. Oh, its also loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does NOT dry clothes

After much research and reading a lot of reviews ordered this dryer. BIG MISTAKE! It takes hours to dry clothes. I don't mean tons of sheets and towels. Trying to dry a medium load of light clothes and it's been drying for hours and still not dry. Have had this appliance for two weeks and wish I could send it back!

It takes 90min for sucks to dry. You can only imagine how much more it takes for the towel to dry. What it took one cycle to dry with my previews dryer it takes 3 with GE and the clothes still come out damp. After 2 month of use it stared making this noice throughout the entire cycle.

Not Good!

Just got my new dryer three hours ago and was so excited, completed first load, put second load in to dry and the dryer door will not shut!!!! I unplugged the dryer waited ten minutes tried to close and nothing... Now a technician can’t get here until January 4th 2018... NOT GOOD!
