Long dry times

The dry times are excessive and the sensor does not seem to detect when clothes are still wet. 90% of the standard sized loads of standard everyday clothes that I have dried take much longer than the initially estimated time to complete the dry cycle (ie: dryer estimates 45 min based on settings I choose, but dryer runs the cycle for 90 min). Even with the lengthy dry times the clothes are still fairly damp (even though the dryer is supposed to sense that before stopping the cycle) and I have to run an additional cycle in order to get the clothes dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Soooo quiet! The dryer has a wonderful end of cycle melody that just makes me smile. It is incredibly efficient and clothes come out fluffy and soft. Buy this, you will be pleasantly surprised! Bought the matching washer also!!

Good looking dryer and works well while it lasts

I Purchased this Dryer on 11/1/2017 and it has not been a year and the wire harness melted inside causing the dryer to not produce heat. Instead of GE replacing the dryer with a new one , they replaced the whole harness and heater on the dryer. I don't think that a dryer should die after just 8 months of usage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
