Noisy and it vibrates

I just had our new washer delivered and hooked up.
From the moment the technician ran it through its first cycle I did not like the machine.
it was noisy and vibrated and does not seem to be a very good quality.

Super Drying Power

We didn't need a new dryer, but decided to get a matching pair when our washer stopped working. This dryer has a very large capacity and dries clothes fast. Very happy we decided to get the pair.

I bought this a few days a go and I already love it. love how my cloths smell good and are dry. I also Like all the options I have for drying times, love the warm up its great! Love Love It !

New Dryer

It works extremely well except for the fact that you cannot hear the buzzer when it stops. The sound is so low that you have to be right in front of the dryer when it stops. We had to purchase a wind-up mechanical timer to let us know when the dryer will stop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Less than 90 days old and already needs repair

Not the same old reliable GE as in the past. My GE appliances in my other house were in the house new in 2000 and still work fine. I can't say the same about this dryer. It looks great has many features but not even 90 days old and already has way too many issues for a brand new dryer.
Issue #1 and the main problem. The metal wire bars for the moisture sensor allow items to become snagged in them. Things like dryer sheets (almost every load), my wife's delicate laundry items (not good), and general hair, debris, and lint. There's no way to remove or clean those items out of the wire sensors.
Issue number #2 The dryer when running a freshly washed load makes a squeaking sound while the drum is turning. Very noticeable when running. Maybe something in the drive section.
Issue #3 The dryer door makes a scraping, rubbing sound every time it's opened or closed. Feels rough and sticks a bit.
The dryer does work and dries my clothes, but what good is it if it tears them up and squeaks like fingernails on a blackboard when it's running. Not sure about the door but it sure doesn't operate smooth.
That's the main reason for the one star rating. Poor QC on this dryer. There should never be this many issues with a new appliance. One I could understand but three?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It works!

This dryer has so many setting choices--many of which I have yet to try. You can pick preset cycles or set your own time and temperature setting. Purchased 3 months ago and so far I am very happy with it. Has a large capacity and dries in less time than my old dryer. Also does not spray lint everywhere which was another characteristic of my old dryer. It operates quietly and plays a little tune when it starts and stops. If it lasts, I will be 100% satisfied with it.
