After some use dryer stops after 5-10 min

This dryer is poorly made Can’t get a new one!!!!!!!!!

Stopped working. Falling Apart

This dryer stopped drying clothes after about 3 months. I have to run loads at least twice in order to fully dry or make the load very small. In addition to that, it's hard to describe, but on the inside of the dryer, where the drum meets the door opening, there's some kind of insulation/ liner (looks like a gray strand of felt) and a long piece of plastic sticking out into the drum. Clothes are getting caught on the plastic. I've only had this dryer for 6 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Worst Dryer I Have Ever Owned!!

I received this dryer as a home warranty exchange when we were unable to get the necessary parts for my previous GE dryer of 15 years. Can't really call this a dryer since - well, it doesn't dry. No matter what settings, load size, fabric type, etc. we are having run this machine for a minimum of three times longer than before. This review comes from over a month of frustration and a load of 4 pairs of jeans that has now taken in excess of 2 hours to dry. The thought of weekly loads of sheets and towels makes me cringe. My home warranty company does not plan on replacing this dryer with another option, so we are now shopping for the replacements (the dryer and the warranty company) ourselves. Read the reviews on other websites, you will find that there are many similarly unsatisfied customers out there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t buy GE Dryer

Dryer does not dry large loads well, especially towels. So much electricity is wasted. Towels and shirt collars still damp. Returned the first dryer. Second dryer is a little better. Will not purchase GE products again!

Broke two months after purchase

The mother board broke two months after purchasing. I did not have a dryer for three weeks thanks to this horrific product. I would have purchased another product that was not GE if I had to do it again.
