I've never had to add drying time to get my clothes dry. The multiple settings allow for complete drying.

Great features and energy efficient

After having my previous GE dryer for 15 years without a single problem, I am very disappointed that this new model broke down after just two months. In hind sight I would have preferred a model with the controls on the from as per other manufacturers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dryer works!

We bought this dryer about 6 weeks ago. It has MANY possible settings, but there doesn't seem to be much difference in how dry the garments are upon cycle conclusion. Some loads have garments that still have a wet waistband, or wet inseam, although "mixed load" was selected. Hey, it works, doesn't seem to shrink stuff...a functional replacement for our broken washer/dryer set.

Has a side opening door

I bought it online from Costco not realizing it had a side opening door. I feel a bottom opening door is much better. Far fewer clothes end up on the floor as you transfer them from the washer

we bought this a month ago, we had an 11 year old dryer, and our wahser had went out so we decided to buy the matching set. so glad we did i like the features , and it dries a lot faster.
