Works great, 2 problems

I realized a few months into using this dryer, that the design is flawed. There is a metal grate-type thing on the inside of the dryer, that leads to the lint trap (with access on opposite side. Like any normal lint trap you access it when you open the door. Well this grate catches dryer sheets, small pieces of clothing including any loose fibers (think fringes on towels). The dryer sheets tangle in there and I ALWAYS have to fish them out along with any stray fibers it caught while in use. There have been tears in clothing due to this. Soooo.... there’s that. This dryer works great but that is DEFINITELY a design flaw! Clothing is made of fibers! Anyway the other problem I have with this dryer is that the lint trap area seems extremely difficult to clean and gets pretty messy pretty quickly. I haven’t found an easy way to do this aside from what I have decided. It seems like the best way to Clean it all out will be to unscrew that area which will hopefully mean I’ll have access to better clean out all that stray lint. It definitely seems like a lot of loose stuff in there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought our new dryer a couple of months ago and wanted to wait until I had really put it to the test, before doing a review. Couldn’t be happier! Does exactly what I need, depending upon the settings. Was impressed that my husband could easily switch the door, as GE made it so easy to accomplish, to swing in the direction that better suited our placement situation.

I haven't bought a washer and dryer in 16 years. Finally it was time and I looked at many brands. I didn't hesitate to purchase the GE set I did. The capacity and easy to set features are awesome! I highly recommend this set to everyone!
