Great dryer, but end of cycle signal not loud

I've had GE appliances, including washer and dryer, for over 30 years. Love the features and quality of drying but cannot hear the end of cycle signal anywhere but the laundry room. The old model was loud enough to hear, but not this one even at the highest volume.

Sleek Look

I love the sleek clean look of this dryer. Even more important than the look, I love how efficient it is. Heavy bulky items like comforters dry evenly, and I'm enjoying the many drying capability options it gives me.

Does a good job on drying clothes. Takes a bit getting used to the settings and how to use them. Downfall would be that the lint doesn't collect fully into trap so when opening door it falls to the floor and collects on clean dry clothes. Positive have plenty of room for Queen comforter! Overall I'm sastified with this purchase.
