Decent dryer

Decent dryer But it got 3 stars because why would you make the lint filter SO tiny? I feel like I need to stop the dryer in the middle of the load just to clean it before the end. It’s so small. Why ?

The dryer works and drys well. My complaint is the noise and the door closes with just a cheap metal clip that isn't very sturdy. Also the lint screen is very small, half the size of my last one. Expecded more for the price.

Superb Drying Features

I have owned 5 dryers in the past 24 years (Kenmore & Maytag). This GE dryer has performed the best and offers dryer features that make doing laundry exceedingly simpler, such as reducing wrinkles in large loads (medium heat) due to the roomy drum and extended cycle setting. I believe the GE brand outpaces the competition after nearly 3 months of use.

Does a great job in much less time than my old dryer. The settings are easy to use but you will have to read the IFU booklet to understand some of the settings. Keep in mind that on this model the door opens on the right - if you have a washer on the right as well the dryer door may get in the way when transferring wash to dryer.

Needed a new dryer to go with my new washer that we were buying, and it was at a great price. The house we were moving into didn't have anything in it so we had to start at ground zero, and with this being my first time in buying new appliances, I was learning. Did some research online and knew that Ge was very good brand. I'm so glad I went with my choice, it has so many options, I can dry my clothes in less time than I use to and I can also put my king-size comforter in and it comes out so soft and dry in no time. The instruction book that comes along with is very helpful in case you run into any questions, because if your anything like me, I'm kind of old-school, and these new things scare me sometimes. Love the choice I made and you will also.
