Broke after a year and a half

I love the GE brand and have many of their appliances that I love, however I purchased a washer and drier set in December of 2019 and now in September of 2021 I’m having to replace the drier. I’m not sure if it was just a faulty item or if maybe a storm damaged the electrical system since the washer is still working perfectly. I gave it 3 stars because when it worked it was great but it broke after only a year and a half.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible

This is the second dryer. First one the board died in the first month. Took it back and the second one the belt broke a year and a half later. The belt has broken again. I will not repair again and will buy a different dryer. One that doesn't say GE.

Control Panel Failure

Dryer installed for less than two years and it stopped working. GE repair man stated the main control panel was bad and needed to be replaced. Replacement of the board would have been about the cost of a new machine.
