My previous dryer was also a GE, so I love the reliability of this brand. I am very happy with the features this new dryer offers. From settings, to lighting and easy access to the lint filter, I am delighted with my purchase.

I am not very pleased with this dryer. If I was able to return for another dryer, I would do so. I am not happy that the buzzer to alert the end of the dry time is not loud at all. I can hardly hear it when in the room right next to my laundry room. I also am not happy with the sensor feature that will dry your clothes until they are dry then shut off. 9 out of 10 times, my clothes are still damp
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use

No problems what so ever, it dries our cloth faster then out old dryer and has all the functions we need it to have. We like how the light inside only turns on when the dryer door is wide open.

Second try, I'm hopeful!

I had a GE set previously that was only two years old. I loved those but they were white and I really wanted something more modern. I love this new set but first the dryer that was delivered was extremely noisy. It sounded like a screech every time it turned. They came and replaced it and happily the new dryer sounds like my old one. So far, I've really noticed the sensor dry function. It seems to take slightly longer to dry the clothes because it's often using cooler settings by default. On my old machine I could manually change the heat setting. I'm assuming because if the energy star rating this is not possible on this one. Either way, so far so good. I'm a little anxious about the digital controls, but only time will tell!
