Ineffective Sensor

Sensor does not work properly. Must restart dryer several times to achieve complete dry. Have started using 'timed' dry to avoid restart. Also, the 'end' alarm cannot be heard at any distance from the machine. Would not buy again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Will not turn on after only 8 months

Awesome digital preset drying

This dryer has a technical advantage to the old style breed of all clothes drying, just pick a spot on the dial and touch the start button. led lighting in the drum makes it nicer to see everything in it. Very quiet and fast drying cycles. I had to reverse the door but use a magnet to keep door closed. The clip was a bit too tight to open it so left it to the trashcan. the lint screen is very easy to get to for cleaning along with a warning to don't forget to clean before next load, a necessary step that's forgetful in today's world. Temperature controlled by a memory built in that's changeable with drying degree on dryness. this is the ultimate machine for everything that needs drying.

Overall, it was easy to figure out how to use, and once I start it, I don't have to do anything until everything is ready. When it says that the items are dry, they are ready to be removed. It does take longer to dry than I would have expected, and if I don't go over when things are dry, it play a short burst of music at periodic intervals, until you turn the power off or open it up. I think once or twice would be good, doesn't need to do so over and over.

Works well!...when it works

I have had this dryer for almost 3 months now. It has a good set of features and has my clothes dry when done. Unfortunately I had an issue with the appliance turning on. We had a GE technician come out and said the control board had died. This is not a good sign for a less-than-3-month-old appliance. He was nice and replaced the board and it works fine now, but it was pretty annoying. Please increase quality standards!
