So our old dryer decided to stop working days before Christmas . As anyone knows extra $$ at that time of year is hard to come by . So we debated waiting on a new dryer until after the holidays . That soon got hard to do though when your having to tote wet clothes to people's houses multiple times a week . Or hang dry everything. So we were so excited to see GE had one that fit our holiday budget and has so many bells and whistles that I never had before . This dryer gas been amazing! Probably my biggest WOW is it's capicity . We have king size bedding . So the huge king thick blankets always have been a pain to dry . Usually it's multiple cycles having to pull it out half way and adjust it etc. Not with this dryer ! It dried fully the 1st time ! No adjusting !!! I am so happy with this dryer .

Wonderful Dryer with Inaudible End-Of-Cycle Signal

Love this dryer except for one thing that's extremely annoying: you can't hear the end-of-cycle signal! Yes, there is a "volume" button to adjust it, but its range is from silent to whisper and that's it! The alarm on our old dryer could be heard throughout the house. This one is super wimpy. Oh, and one more thing: the lint trap is a little quirky to remove and replace. Prefer the slide-in type on top of the dryer rather than inside the door like this one. Other than those two small issues, it's a very nice dryer.
