Bad design on belt system

Very disappointed. Squeaks constantly and keeps breaking drive belt.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problems with lint screen

Have had this dryer for several years now. Works well for the most part. Only issue we've had is that the lint screen was broken and replaced not once, but twice. The two replacements both became warped at the arch at the bottom of the lint screen. This made it difficult to pull the lint screen in and place it back in position. Don't know why this happened, but makes me think twice about buying another GE dryer.

Gets my clothes dry.

A good dryer. (I have a GTD65EBSJWS) One Item I'd like to leave here; if you have to replace the main control board (it's easy) and you get part# WE22X35978 with the instructions. The instructions won't have your model number on them but through trial and error it seems personality ID #3 (the one for a YTD74E*) is the way to go. Oddly enough the GTD58E and GTD58G personalities didn't have the dial indicator in the correct location.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Its been a great dryer, no issues whatsoever, I would definitely recommend this dryer. It is very light and 1 person can maneuver it around effortlessly.

Terrible dryer. Would never buy a GE appliance again. Control board has failed twice. Poor quality and reliability. Had same experience with a GE fridge.

GE Dryer

This dryer is great at sensing dryness and always dryers a large load of towels completely. The only thing keeping me from eating a five is it sometimes will leave a black mark on white clothing or sheets. Have not been able to figure out where or what is causing this.
