Had this for a year an a half and taken it around the world. Durable, dependable, great video and pictures. Rivals cameras that are 6 times th ecost!

At Last! The long-awaited combination of features!

I have had the 400 V for two weeks now, and I am pleased and inspired to explore this camera's many interesting capabilities. I photograph birds and other natural subjects mostly, and have already achieved some nice captures of birds in flight with the "Continuous Shooting" mode where we can see every feather of an Osprey flying over at 80 feet above. With Shutter Priority and up to 1/4000 sec speed, we will be able to achieve stop-motion of even a hummingbird's wings. With the manual focus ring, I could get precise focus on a Dragonfly amidst sticks and branches ten or more feet away. I only wish it could stash pictures more quickly after a burst, but, all things considered, I give a thoughtful "Excellent!" rating.
