The print quality is the best I have ever had, be it a copy or something I have scanned. Highly recommend to anyone who is tired of constantly buying ink cartridges for their printer. Worth every penny because the savings will outweigh the cost within the first year! What are you waiting for? This is YOUR new printer!

Great printer, but...

I love this printer. I went from an inkjet to this laserjet so naturally I'm awed by the speed and crisp prints/copies. There are 2 things I'm not too fond of though. 1) It doesn't do automatic two-sided printing, it's manual only which means it will print the first side and then you have to re-insert the pages to print on the other side. That's not too horrible though, I can live with it. 2) It doesn't print color photos very well. My old inkjet printed great color photos so I guess I got a little spoiled. BUT this printer is for work and as such, it's pretty great.

Good with a Mac not so much with Windows 10

Great printer - fast and good quality printing. The only problem, and it is not the printer's fault, is that it has problems with Windows 10. The printer is hardwired, but Windows says it's not connected, Windows claims the paper tray is empty when it's full, etc. Using the same printer with a Mac or Windows 7 produces none of these issues. Color printing is clear and bright. It's never jammed, so I can't comment about clearing paper jams.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It can't print just a portion of a large-scale drawing. It can only print a large scale drawing (ex. 24"x36" pdf) as a complete drawing on 8 1/2 x 11.

Can't get the "scan to computer" feature to work at all. Have to load the documents, then go to the computer to start the scan. Then go back to put the documents away. Extremely frustrating. This is the last HP printer/scanner I will purchase.

Arrived in time for a most important job and it continued to jam, no matter what paper I put in.
The box arrived, looking basically OK with some crushing on one side. When removed from the box, both foam supports were damaged and could not be reused when unit was returned for credit. Did purchase another HP product which is working okay.

This printer is nice, it prints quite quickly, I just don't like that the double sided printing isn't automatic. You have to insert the paper back in manually for it to print on the other side. I wish I read that more carefully before ordering this printer. Other then that, it's fine.
