Best cellphone I've ever had, hands down. The camera alone takes one-of-a-kind stills and preserves every moment the way it should be remembered. There's no gimmicks when it comes to this phone. The open source software makes downloading and installing apps a breeze. These best thing is being able to customize your phone with themes; you don't have to root your phone to be able to customize it the way you want it
I've had this phone since it came out and while it's a great phone with a beautiful screen and camera the lack of extra storage space by using a sd card and not having an option to remove the battery makes it hard for me to recommend this phone to anyone.
Frequent Updates, Solid Product, Just a Few Annoyances

I continue to have a good experience with the S6. There have been regular security and OS updates. However, three things stand in the way of higher praise:
- The gesture-based screen capture (swiping across screen from edge to edge like a windshield wiper) is not that well thought out. For people with disabilities or for those of us with cases like Otterbox that come around and over the edge of the screen, getting and keeping contact while sweeping edge to edge is hard to impossible. All that is needed is to add a software button to the pull down options (WiFi, Sound, Bluetooth, Flashlight, etc). A single tap and the screen underneath is captured.
- There is a pop up every time Mobile Data is turned off (same happens when enabling location services, but due to the tracking nature that notice is slightly more tolerable). It is annoying to be forced to acknowledge this every time that I want to conserve my battery. I should be allowed to enable and disable Mobile Data just as annoyance-free as I can with WiFi.
- Lastly, I'm not sure if it's contractual with Google; however, it would really be nice to have the option to set any application to the Home button. I see a single option (take it or leave it) to open the camera with two quick taps of the Home button, and holding the Home button activates a Google search page. Being able to customize these for quick-access to any applications of our choosing would be nice for personalizing the day to day experience with the S6.
Thank you.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wanted the active but am not with ATT. Never the less, it is a great phone with most of the same good features. Only downside is not being able to change batteries. I have to charge it now twice a day.
If you want a phone that looks great and takes superb photos, give the Galaxy S6 your highest consideration. The Galaxy S6 may not be a perfect phone, but for many mainstream users, it's the best choice.
