Worst Phone

I have owned many Samsung phone and they are the best. But i must say that this is the worst phone that Samsung has put out., it locks up on a regular basis. It changes settings on its own. The batter life is not on par with any other phone that Samsung makes. it does not even last the day before it has to be charged. You can not access the internet while on a phone call, like you can with most other Samsung phones. Yes you can if you turn on HD Calling but then it only works if you are in a 4G LTE area. I drops WiFi connections on a regular basis. It has one of the worst signal receivers. You also don't have the option of an SD Card. They took away the ability to remove the battery. If I had the option I would not buy this phone again, it is not worth the money. I will be switching to a Note 4 as soon as I can.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

changing from S3 to S6

The S6 offers a lot of features that I did not have before with the S3 but in design, such as the calculator, settings and menu button, I really liked the S3. I find the left button underused in that, as far as i can figure out, it only has the function of closing apps. When wanting to change settings as I previously did with the S3, it is more complicated than use the left button to access setting options on whatever app i was on. I now have to "purchase" other design/skin options if I want something with more contrast such as the phone interface or the calculator. Also wish the battery was still accessible, i don't need samsung to mimic any iphone, the separate battery and additional memory that distinguised previous S models was a big plus for me and a reason to chose a galaxy over iphone when getting the first smart phone, the S3, please bring that back. I have a lot of problems managing apps that were supposed to get transferred automatically, and apparently they are installed, just can't find them under apps! No idea where they are. Administering the phone has gotten weird without the buttons the way they were on the S3. The display is amazing, the size great, love the mophie extended battery as protection device too. I hope i get used to it, just miss my S3 a lot.
Cons: left button setting function missing, short screen time when pressing menu
I would recommend this to a friend!

First off my Galaxy tablet is awesome and I love it. But goin from the Galaxy S4 to a Galaxy S6 phone left a lot to be desired. Its really nothing more than an S4 with a few upgrades. Nothing worth mentioning either. If Samsung doesnt offer something super spectacular by August 2016, I will be upgrading to a different phone altogether. I like the Android OS, but have seen some other phones that offer way more for the value.

I wavered between the Edge, Note and S. The Note was just too big for me but a great device. I couldn't justify the cost for a stylus. The Edge was beautiful but I use a lifeproof case that isn't supportive of the Edge so I would loose the extra screen. I had a 5 and it was great until the latest software update and started to hemorrhage power and I rapidly ran out of memory. I have had no problems at all with my 6. It has plenty of memory, the battery can last a day and a half and the resolution and camera are superb!
I purchased my first Samsung (Galaxy S6) product after years of dedication with another brand. It took me a little while to warm up to the operating system and learn the functions but all-in-all, I was excited about the change. Then about 3 months in, disaster struck. But first let me say, I’ve always been careful with my phones. I work in a harsh environment so taking care of my electronics has always been a top priority. I’ve always purchased a case with durability and impact resistance in mind which I did with this phone. In 12 years, I’ve never had a problem like this one. While reaching for the morning alarm on the night stand I bumped my Samsung and it fell to the hardwood floor. It seemed like such a minor fall (about 2 feet) that I wasn’t even that concerned about it. It was in its ruggedized case and had high quality safety glass over the front. When I looked at it a short time later I noticed a purple spot in the upper left-hand corner. I couldn’t believe that short of a fall, with all of the safety factors in place, would cause the purple spot! Well, it got worse. As the morning progressed, it went from a purple spot in the corner to ¼ of the screen, then ½, then ¾, then 100% black. It seemingly oozed across the screen. People have told me that the phone would have to land a perfect way in order to have this kind of damage from a 2ft. fall. None the less, this does not meet my expectation for durability on a portable device. By the way, my expectations are not ridiculous; I do not expect a device to withstand a 5 foot drop on cement, a two second dip in a pool, or 10 minutes next to a burner on the stove. However, I did expect my Samsung Galaxy S6 to withstand a 2ft. fall from a night stand.
Pros: great interface, camera quality
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not low impact resisitant
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're to start ,for one you now can not upgrade memory, no slot for micro sd card, you can not remove battery it is sealed so when your battery goes bad good luck. Also now you can not be on the phone and Internet at the same time if not in 4G . Now the positive it's a phone you can make phone calls,I should have just stayed with my S3.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased the galaxy s6 right before thanksgiving and it was a great phone.. at first. A little less than a month later my screen started being very unresponsive. Typing a text or using the keyboard at all was ridiculous. I shrugged it off for a few weeks and dealt with it hoping that the problem would go away. Those weeks went by and the screen stayed the same. I took it into the Verizon store and they agreed the screen was horrible and made simple tasks take forever. I of course didn't have insurance on the phone because I am a poor college student and I couldn't afford it. I could barely afford the phone. I took it to other stores and no one could help me. Do not buy this phone.
Pros: Bright display
