great performance subpar battery

Great device that performs just as expecte. Only downfall is that battery life leaves a lot to be desired.

This my third galaxy series phone. I absolutely love this phone. It's comfortable to hold in your hand. Touch wiz is great on this phone. Samsung got rid of all the bloatware on this phone. The camera is excellent! I have converted many apple fans when I showed them all the things you can do with a Samsung phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

I am impressed. My prior phone, a Motorola Droid RZR HD ( which was a very good phone)) could not handel a couple of apps that I need for work, the S6 has no problems with them. It has allowed me to unload or disable much of the bloatware that came with it and came with a great keyboard alternative "Fleksy" which you usually have to pay for. The screen resoulotion is awsome and a noticeable improvement over the great screen of the S5. I haven't expirenced any glitches with streaming or viewing videos. I haven't heard a phone yet with great sounding speakers, but the speakers in the S6 are better then most. Too bad they aren't front facing. I do miss the external memory card and wish that the phone had the dust and water resistant features of the S5. The battery charge life is fair at best, but when you consider the increased screen resolution and cpu speed and charge life is about the same or bettrr than most other phones- it's acceptable. I have read that upcoming software improvements could increase the battery charge life. I love the wireless charging and quick charge although you do have to pay extra for the wireless charging pad, unless you can take advantage of a special offer. I've had no problems with Bluetooth or WIFI. I gave "design" 4 stars because it looked too much like the I- phone, although this didn't bother me enough to pay the extra $100.00 for the Edge.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, fast processings speed
Cons: not as durable as s5 or my droid rzr

Ever since i have gotten this phone, it has made my life a whole lot easier! I love samsung and i will stay with them until they stop making phines which is highly unlikely!

Complete package

This phone is complete. The biggest thing I look for in my next phone is camera quality, the S6 is the king of the hill. The pictures that this phone takes just on automatic are incredible and the video is out of this world. The screen translates video better then the naked eye. I also have converted a few Iphone user because of the camera. I can't wait for Samsung Pay.

Great Phone So Far

This is my second Samsung smartphone, having just upgraded from an S3. The battery seems to last much longer than my old phone, even with running apps. Calls also seem clearer and reception seems better to me even with the same carrier. The quick charger is a great improvement (makes the phone a little warm but really works fast), although I also purchased a wireless desktop charger from the carrier, which makes overnight charging very simple (no messing with plugs). I don't take a lot of photos, but the camera resolution looks great, front and back. I can't say I miss the removeable battery or the memory slot, as frankly I never used them on the older model. The phone looks great, is fairly light and feels similar to my old phone in my pocket. There is a small ridge around the camera, so it's not completely flat on the back side which I noticed at first, but getting used to it. Overall, Samsung has produced what appears to be a high quality smartphone that looks good, is lightweight and offers all the latest bells and whistles.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, battery life, wireless/quick charging, appearance, voice calls
Cons: ridge around camera

My First Smart Phone

I had an old Samsung Ph. I only used for calling cabs or talking to my family on RARE occasions when I was not at home. The old Ph. had no memory and I could not connect to the internet and only had 250 Min. a Month talk time, so I did not use it a lot! I finally decided it was time to up grade, I looked at several phones over the next few months and I decided if I was going to upgrade I wanted something Brand New! When I checked out the new Galaxy S6 I decided that was the phone for me. I like the look and the features, also I am into computers so I checked out the memory and the processor(chip) and speed, it is almost as fast as my laptop!! I can do almost everything on my S6 that I can do on my laptop(Almost). So far I am very Happy with my choice and don't know how I ever got along without it!
