great product for dry hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't wait to try this straightener, it claims to hydrate hair while straightening. My daughter has really long, curly and frizzy hair, so this would be a great tool for her hair. We straightened her hair and the straightener worked well, although we had problems getting all the way to the root of the hair to straighten. overall, it managed the frizz well and straightened well. I didn't notice much hair breakage either, so that was great! What I really liked the most, is that it locks in the straight style for a few days without having to straighten over again! Awesome! We really like this straightener and would recommend to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't try this right away due to being a little annoyed with how long it usually takes to straighten my long kinky/curly hair. It takes time and planning and I come up with excuses to not straighten, those days are OVER!
Gone are the days of 2-3 passes, waiting for the section to cool and going over again. One pass with the TStudio PROtect Straightener was all that was needed. It was easy to hold, I didn't burn myself or scorch my hair and my hair looked and felt incredible after using.
I used the Macadamia oil and really liked the digital settings.

I read about this product in a magazine and figured I'd try it I have so many hair straighteners that are ok but nothing like this -my hair not only gets straight on first pass but stays straight and with the added oil it's just magnificent I can control temperature for least damaging setting maximum results with less damage I'll never use another brand finally can clear out all my other straightns my hair is thick and frizzy but with this product now soft and sleek
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free Remington S8700 T/Studio PROtect Hair Straightener with “Vapor Infusion Technology” to test and review. I have predominately grey hair & it is very stubborn so I am always on the lookout for a good straightener that did not leave my natural African American hair frizzy. I was thrilled to give this one a try but had the usual frizzy hair reservations. All my preconceived evaluations were wrong. This is a great product. It has everything, digital temperature controls that can be locked, quick heat up & auto shutoff. My favorite function is the Vapor Infusion Technology. I used the Macadamia Conditioning Treatment that was included & it left my hair smooth, silky & hydrated instead of dry & brittle. I am grateful for the opportunity to review this product. It will get plenty of use from me. I would highly recommend it to a friend. Now to find where to purchase the Macadamia Conditioning Treatment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given a Remington T/Studio Protect Hair Straightener for free and was asked to review the product. I like the look and feel of the straightener and it's ease of use was great. The straightener in general was not that great it did straighten the hair however not to complete satisfaction my hair was left frizzy looking. I would not recommend this product .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an African American with relaxed hair and this straightener was okay. It got the job done and is a good addition to my other styling tools but it will not definitely replace any of my current tools.

Lower level of heat needed and great conditioning for your hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thing I loved most was that I could set the temperature lower that my old plain iron. Old iron would need to be at 420F to work and the TStudio only needed to be at 375F (3rd bar on display). Remington did a great job of incorporating the Macadamia conditioning treatment right into the flat iron. Did not even have to think about anything, all I had to do was fill the reservoir with the included liquid and press a button. If you run out, you can use distilled water safely. The only con I see to this flat iron is the how the plates are set up. If you need to straighten near your roots, the iron needs to be turned around (see picture). All in all my hair feels in better condition, stayed softer and used less heat. Good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I consider myself to be a flat iron fanatic. I use my flat iron every day, which can be bad for your hair. Remington's Pro-tect T Studio flat iron is actually good for your hair with it's vapor infusion technology. I love the fact that it protects your hair up to 68% more then regular flat irons. Your hair is not only straight, but re hydrated, and less frizzy. It has a little chamber on the back in which you can add either distilled water, or the included macadamia conditioning treatment. With a touch of a button, a cool micro vapor is released, leaving your hair soft, silky and straight. This iron heats up salon quick, up to 450 degrees, has temperature lock and comes with a 4 year warranty.
There are only 2 things that kept me from giving this iron 5 stars. The first one is the bottom is not completely flat so you must be careful when setting it on your counter. I also with the plates were bigger. Although the 1 inch ceramic plates do a great job at straightening, I prefer an iron with 2 inch plates. Other then that, I love this iron and use it daily.
