Absolutely The Worst

This is the worst printer I have ever bought. I have previously had 5 printers from Epson which were excellent. I expected the same but was very disappointed. When printing it is inefficient, time-consuming and works erratically. It has just finished mangling 3 sheets of paper and I have decided to toss it and get a printer from a different company. I expect a printer that prints. I don't expect it to be perfect but this one can't even print properly. However, it does look good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lousy design in printer trays

The printer has three printer trays that don't fit easily into the printer. Just spent the last half hour recovering printer from a simple paper jam and trying to put the trays back in the printer. Doesn't help that all of the parts are black and consequently difficult to see how the fit within printer.

Problems with install

I bought this printer to operate wirelessly but so far there are problems. The scanner functions work wireless but not the printer. I have to connect it to a usb port to print. I don't have time right now to trouble shoot so I'm just living with it.

Nice looking, Set up fairly easy

I bought this to replace a less than 2 year old Epson 830. It was spitting globs of black ink all over the documents, no matter what setting I used. I only use top quality print paper. If this 960 goes the way of the 830, it will be so long Epson and hello Canon. BTW, Epson, this is the 4 Epson product I've owned. When they print photos, the prints are spectacular! Come on Epson, start building ink jets like to old Artisan 800 I had. It went 4 years with no problems!

I purchased this printer AFTER having gone through quite an ordeal with an HP photo printer which I ended returning after countless hours of technical support.
This printer connected to my Wi-Fi very easily. My laptop was able to connect to it wirelessly with little effort - I was unsuccessful in this area with the HP printer.
Connected to our phones very easily via the app.
Very clean edges, nothing bulky. When a print job is sent, the menu door opens up, the output tray comes out, and the print job is sent. Otherwise, the printer looks nice and clean on my desk. I just wish there was a way for the output tray to close automatically after a print job is sent; instead, I have to press the "close" button. Really not a big deal but maybe something Epson should have thought about.
I would recommend this to a friend!
