A Good Replacement

My old Epson that I had had for seven years just didn't work as it should. I need to print DVD/CDs. While different as to now the printing is done, it has done a good job and I am happy with it. I am using an iMac and this printer has printed well this last 3 month.

Comletely Satisfied

I'll start by dating myself, I've been using Epson printers since my first PC purchase, an IBM PC Junior. Prior to the XP960 I was using the Artisan 50 and V300 scanner, both performed excellent, but just wore out. The 960 setup was very easy and I liked that it automatically searched for updates and installed them. Operation of the printer is simple and the photo/DVD printing is of high quality (what I've come to expect from Epson over the years); and scanning is a breeze.
Without getting technical I'll just say that I'm completely satisfied.

Love The Photos!

As previously depicted by other reviews, the print quality is right there. We bought this printer with the intention of printing 4x6 photos. Our first test photo printed beautiful. Color reproduction was what we expected. What surprised us was all the mechanical gesturing before the printer started to print and hand deliver the output. I am a firm believer that the least amount of moving parts is best. I think Epson could have done a better engineering job with all the sprockets and levers in motion when sending a job to the printer for delivery. My suspicion is those will be the first parts to fail before the rest of the unit.
But overall, it printed beautiful photos, the setup was extremely easy and straight forward.
I will also review after a period of time to better evaluate the ink consumption and its ability to deliver quality prints consistently.

XP-960

I'm impressed with the quality of prints except for the times it "blobs" or streaks. So far my only fix is to pull out the rubber gasket under ink cartridge, clean out with a Q-tip and reinsert.
I totally love the 11 x 17 capacity. I also appreciate the automatic deployment of the output tray after it is stored for space saving. I upgraded from the 620 and it was such a pain to have to remember to pull out the tray!!
The DVD printer is a MUST for me.

After probably 12 years, possibly longer, I'm replacing my workhorse printer, an Epson Stylus Photo RX580. I could have continued using it as nothing was wrong, but I wanted to upgrade to a wireless printer, and enjoy some of the newer bells and whistles.
After some research, I settled on the XP-960. Setup was simple, once I figured out an issue with my Wi-Fi system. I anticipate several years of use from this printer. Thanks Epson for continuing to to manufacture truly awesome printers. My only question will be the amount of ink that the printer will consume. After an hour, I've had to reorder new cartridges, but to be fair, it may be because the cartridges that come with the printer may only be a partial cartridge.

I've always loved Epson printers and this one has not failed to please. For a small high quality home printer it does it all and it's so user friendly. Printing, scanning and copying with a simple touch of a button! Super high quality whether printed on copy paper, heavy card stock or photo paper. I set this up as a wireless printer and even set up my Android phone to print to it and it was easy peasy. I love love love this printer. Would recommend this to everyone and being a computer tech, this is a super high recommendation!!!

First Rate All-In-One

This "Small In One" is proving to be a reliable, easy to operate feature filled unit. Both documents and photos print with great clarity and definition, and scan/copy functions are first rate as well. My experiences have been nothing but positive. Highly recommended!

operates well in all modes. I would like to see the ability to stack more than 1 sheet in the rear stack.
Also, making the system drive the delivery tay every time it opens will wear out something( gears, motor, etc) I think it would last longer without that action.
