I am in my 70's and have used Canon film cameras since my teens. This is the first camera I have had that I like as much as film. It is easy to use and, I have to admit , nice to see the images immediately. It is also nice to be able to take alot of images ( tho my granddaughter is not so sure ) and play with them on the computer. I use it mostly in manual as I am usually pretty good about the image I want. The only thing I do not like is that the software does not run on linus.

Great quality for the price

Simple, yet effective. It gets the job done for the price. There are of course improvements that could be made, but that would require a steeper price. It has everything an entry level photographer needs. I have thoroughly enjoyed using it. I have had no problems with it and enjoy it greatly. Thank you, Canon

Great Beginners camera

I bought this camera about two years ago and have love using it. I am still learning but this has been the #1 Camera in my book, I have owned other cameras and I am so glad I purchased it. I have won 2 blue ribbons in my local fair and now I am going to learn more about this camera and go bigger. love it and I will always stick by this camer.

I had a 35mm Cannon before, and a couple of small digital cameras. l This is by far the one of the best camera's I have ever owned. Still getting the hang of all it's features. I highly recommend this camera.

Best Gift Ever!!

Hubby gave me the Canon Rebel T5...it took me a minute to figure it out, but once I did, I LOVED IT!! I took photography years ago for my art credit with a 35MM. This Canon rebel is so much easier, and it doesn't take me long at all to line up a shot!!

Amazing products

Amazing camera, I got the kit with the 18-55 and the 75-300 I love everything about this camera. I use it for photos of family gatherings, but I just used it to take pictures of the long beach grand prix. The 3fps worked well for the close shots between drivers.

Just what I was looking for.

I was looking to upgrade from a point and shoot, friends and relatives pointed me to the T5, Love that it came with the 18-55 and 75-300 lenses. Bought this for wildlife and landscape shots, and love the manual focus. Only had the T5 for a couple of weeks and I am an amateur photographer but I am hooked.
