Defender Cases are Fantastic

I've had 3 Defender cases over the past few years, each for a different iPhone. I love it. I've accidentally splashed water on the device, dropped it, kicked it, and ran over it with my car. The phone was always in good shape.
It does make the iPhones a bit bigger (very noticeably on my iPhone 6 Plus), and people seem to feel the need to make comments whenever they see my phone for the first time.
In response, I toss the phone over my shoulder and let it land dangerously onto the ground. The reaction on their faces is priceless. I'm sure it'll break one day that I do this, but I can honestly write that I've demonstrated this at least once a month for the past 6 years and have not superficially damaged my phone. Something might someday break on the inside, but that would be my fault for throwing my phone like a dummy, not the case.
Pros: High quality, Durable, great value
Cons: makes the 6 plus even bigger

I was pleased to finally get an iphone 6plus Otterbox in a unique color combination other than basic black. Nothing beats the Otterbox in performance and reliability. In the interim I used a competitor's case with a tempered glass screen protector, which was adequate, but I never felt like it was completely protected. I did remove the otterbox clear screen, and left the tempered glass screen in place, now I have a fully protected phone with an always clear screen.

This is a great case. I have had less expensive ones but this one is durable and clips well into the holster. The iPhone 6+ is well protected.

I am not 100% happy with my otter box. There is a gap between the screen and the plastic protector. I tried over and over to get the plastic screen to sit flat on my iPhone screen but it won't therefore I have a hard time texting. The outer shell does protect the phone I am glad about that because I dropped it and it was fine

That’s fantastic that the OtterBox Defender is getting it done for you on the protection front! But about that screen sensitivity . . .
Sounds like you’ve given it many attempts to correct the issue yourself, but if you haven’t yet, we would suggest placing the iPhone into the screen protector of the case first and then attaching the backside of the case. This will often give a better interaction between the two. If you’ve already tried this, or it just doesn’t seem to resolve the issue, then please feel free to give our Gap-Busting Otters a call at 1-855-688-7269, and we’ll smooth this right out with a brand-new warranty replacement lid/base assembly.
