Needs improvement

I've been a loyal supporter of otter box for my iPhone and iPad for years. They missed the boat on this one. The case makes it very difficult to operate the phone. The protective cover does not fit well. I have to work extra hard to type or do other functions. I'm VERY disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The rubber shell of the otterbox absorbs residue from hands too quickly and is almost impossible to remove causing the case to appear filthy. I do not like the appearance of case now. The case otherwise is very protective of iphone.

Good protection for any iPhone!

We have been using the defender series for all our gadgets. However our only complaint is it is hard to turn off and on in the case. But because it is so good everywhere else, we stick with it!!
Pros: High quality
Cons: hard to turn off!

I haven't had any close calls with my phone but do find that the Otterbox keeps the phone from sliding out of my hand or off of things.
I really love the protective screen cover, too.
I also purchased the same type of Otterbox for my husband, who is more prone to dropping his phone. He really likes his case, too.

Nicer design than the Defender case for my old 5S iPhone. Thus far the new 6S Plus Defender case seems sturdier than my old 5S case.
The rubber flaps to access the iPhone plug jacks are better made and open in the opposite direction vs the older case. Hopefully that should help keep the outer rubber case from separating from the hard plastic under shell, like what happened with my older 5S case.
One note to be aware of: When I first got my new case and I was installing it, there is a very thin plastic piece over the home button. I thought it was supposed to be removed, but it is not meant to be removed. It is meant to keep the dust out. There weren't any mention of it in the instructions, so don't try to peel it off!
