This is not my first Otterbox but is my first review. I love the stability of my two tone Defender. It is solid, not flimsy! Keeps my phone safe through dropping and much usage. Covers all the plugins perfectly. Otterbox is my forever phone case of choice. Nothing better!

I purchased this for my new IPhone 6 plus because I would be breaking my colt and the Defender series for my iPhone 5 was so awesome. I was very disappointed.
Pros: ~Protection: it does provide outstanding protection for my phone.
Cons: ~usability: the screen protection does not make contact with the IPhone 6 plus screen. I have to push fairly hard on my screen in order to make any contact with the screen of my phone. It does not, then, answer calls or make selections. My phone also has the finger print ability enabled, and this does not work well with this case. Actually, my phone cannot read through the cover on the case at all. I could not record my finger print nor could I use it to access my phone. This case also made using the entirety of my screen difficult. I could not use my phones selections that were at the edge of the screen. Some of my student apps require selection or dragging of fingers across the entirety of the screen. The case made this not possible.

This is a great case for phone protection and convenience. It is rather heavy so that should not be a criteria for selection.
Dropped my phone on a tile floor...no problem.

Sturdy case.....

.... But the screen protector doesn't sit flush against the screen. I thought I would get used to it or that it just needed to be broken in, but here i am 3-4 months later and the screen still bubbles up away from the iPhone screen.
I hope they change their design around; i love the defender series for the iPhone 5.
I think the issue is that the case was built to hold the iPhone6+ and THEN they added that padding in the back making the case a tad too small for the actual phone.
It doesn't close all the way along the bottom of the case and I think that is what is causing the problem. The front part of the plastic shell warps outwards when it's secured on the other 3 sides and because there is too much phone to snap around, it warps.

I bought this case because I wanted to protect my iPad Air 2 while commuting to and from work in Boston. What I really like best is the versatility that the cover affords. It not oly provides outstanding coverage to the face of the tablet but it also functions well as a non-slip stand in my office. I use the stand along with the Apple wireless keyboard as a second system and it works for me very well. I am well pleased with the purchase and think that the price charged was reasonable for the functions it delivers.

Now the slip cover won't seal all around

I purchased this item in October to go with my new 6+. The screen has never really fit correctly. I took my screen protector off, I've reinstalled a few times, but it's just not a flat fit. And the tactile response is less than adequate. Takes 4-5 attempts to swipe up from bottom.
I'm used to it now, but if anyone else tries to use the phone to browse photos or something like that, you can see them struggling.
Now, the slip cover won't seal all the way around. It's as if it has been stretched out of shape by uninstalling and reinstalling a few times (6 to be exact).
When I hold the phone, I can feel the slip cover bubbling up in the back. It's like an ill-fitting garment. Was going to re-order that part, but now that I read all the other reviews for people having similar issues, I'm thinking why waste the money?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can't speak for this particular case yet, but I had this case for my iPhone 5 and it was wonderful. I had that phone for 2 years and 8 months. I traded it in for my new iPhone and the salesperson said it looked brand-new. I'm hoping this case works just as well.
