i have been using otter box for a few years now and they are indestructable . the clip has failed on every one of them due to the nature of my work, i am always anging up on something . it breaks the belt clip. all of them were my fault , but this case is by far better than anything i have ever used. when i replace my phone it looks brand new.
This will be my 3rd Otterbox case! First of the "Defender Series" though... I am a girl and don't care for the bulkiness of that case (or the clip) in particular. Okay, Ill be completely honest...I bought the Defender case for my husband because needless to say, he is extremely rough with his iphone. (Sadly, he doesn't like it with the EXTRA screen protector since we always get a tempered glass cover.)
The 2 prior iphones the 4S and 5S I used the "Commuter" case. Loved them!! I also appreciate/appreciated how OtterBox GUARANTEED me a new case after I emailed over a few photos of the broken one and I received a brand new Commuter case within 72 hours!
So for my iphone 6S Plus, I purchased the new "Statement" case. I love it very much!!! I am just happy to have a new iphone!
I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves how sturdy it is, but ever since he put it on his phone it has become almost impossible to hear each other when we call. On both ends everything sounds muffled so we end up having to scream into our phones in order to hear each other. It's a very protective case made with high quality material but it's just so thick that it covers the mic and speaker. Unless you have a job that requires a heavy duty phone case, I would definitley recommend getting a different style otterbox.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
