The Defender is a must have for my iPhone, and I wouldn't be without it. My phone is in mint condition 18 months after I bought it. I can't say the same for the holster. The plastic belt clip is a huge flaw in an otherwise quality product. Their is no give in the rugged case. Snag it on something, or bend the wrong way and the plastic clip easily snaps. I snapped on by simply sitting down. If this was replaced with a metal clip the Defender would be perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only (temporary) problem I had was when I left my old screen protector on in addition to Otter Box's, the touch screen was balky. Once I removed the old one, Otter's touch screen worked as well if not better than my original. Tip: if you have a non Apple charge cord, the plug may not fit through the Otter Box charging cover.--just lightly file or shave the plug with a sharp knife.

Vibrant, I was truly stunned when I finally received and opened the package. I have been using the Defender Series for 6+ years and it has never failed me. I have gone as far as to accidentally chuck my device across a gymnasium once with no damage (do not attempt this please). The protection it gives your phone is astounding and stylish. Definitely a great case.

Upgraded my phone, I waited to use it until I received my Otterbox. My previous phone still looked brand new after over 7 years in an Otterbox (yes, I know- my upgrade was long overdue, lol) despite being dropped at times. I stayed with the "Defender" case because I know how well it protects my phone- well worth the price! I love the Hibiscus Frost color!
