The phone is fine for the average person but it is NOT good for a professional. Way too limited.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not for a professional
I would recommend this to a friend!

My new Galaxy S3 is a significant improvement over my last Android phone. I connect to sites quickly and reliably. No matter what I have to do, the Galaxy is there no me. Thanks Samsung!
Excellent performance with excellent features. The navigation especially with the APPS is particularly user friendly.
Pros: Durable, takes great pictures
Cons: battery life could be better
I would recommend this to a friend!

very happy that I upgraded from the S4 model, the phone has the same look and feel but several upgrades that I enjoy. the plugins are all now at the bottom which makes it much easier for me to handle while traveling, the volume and power buttons are slightly different which also is much more user friendly. Screen is considerably clearer with a much better picture which makes watching movies more enjoyable. only drawback I have seen so far is the lack of a memory slot for a micro SD card, very bummed about not having this! purchased an additional cord and can now have an external memory card which does the job but is one more thing I have to carry with me and keep track of. next phone I will for sure verify this before spending the money.
Hate to admit...it's gorgeous but, ultimately, the iPhone is better

I wanted, really wanted it to work out. I was an iPhone user but it became aesthetically displeasing; the Galaxy S6 however became gorgeous. So I crossed enemy lines. The Android system was different but I adapted. I found I missed the facetime, Siri, voice file texting, and I missed many texts while group messaging (and I tried many apps). Then it needed service. Samsung asked I send it in. It told me to make sure that the reactivation lock be disabled. I should have asked how you did that because if you were asked on an iPhone to do that, you'd go to settings and find a feature called just that. Not so on Android. So I thought I'd done that, then it gets shipped back because I did not disable my google account which was in charge of the reactivation lock. There are technical features that may be better on the Samsung (and Samsung fans can blog all day about it); however, ultimately, the intuitiveness and user-friendly aspect of the iPhone outweigh those features any day. At least, in my book.
Pros: gorgeous
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone is great and a step up from prior models, with better processors there is less lag and hanging up of the device. Newer features with the camera and editing are also a nice feature, it's what we wanted from the s5, that you had to download apps for, and then some with the added performance.
