Hands on with the s6 is pure bliss. Its my first samsung device and I love everything about this phone. Super snappy, excellent multitasking and the design is flawless. I made the switch from the iphone 5s and i will never look back. Ultimate customization is a plus. The clarity of this screen is perfect all i get is ohh and ahhh everyone i show loves it and they cant wait to get there hands on one. If the s7 is anything like this i will definitely be upgrading. Samsung has done everything right with this piece of tech.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, everything

Had an S2 I loved it, though it had issues and had to replace it several times. The S4 (non-spark) that I've had for two years was awesome, best phone I'd ever had to date. The S6 Edge replacing the S4 is gorgeous. People seeing me with it go oohhh and ahhh, is that a new Galaxy. The pictures are incredible, best camera on any phone.

Cons: battery could be beefier, aggressive garbage collection causes lagging, power saving sometimes causes it to be unresponsiv

Great New Phone

I have been waiting for a long time for the Samsung Galaxy S6 to come out and it was well worth the wait. The interface is great and the new features make using it a breeze. Thank you Samsung for making such a great piece of technology!

Cons: headphone jack on the bottom, my fingers are too small to use the fingerprint id

I moved up from a Galaxy S4 and so far there are a few features they should have kept.
The S4 calendar had tabs at the edge for day, week, month and year. This was handy and one step.
The grouping feature is pretty poor. The S6 has a box with the app icons displayed, but they are so small that you really can't see them. And if you have more than 4 icons in the group, they are impossible to read.
Battery life is so-so. It's erratic. Sometimes it's better than others but overall, not impressive. At 100% at night, it uses about 25% or more in sleep mode.
The volume and on/off buttons are basically in the same place except the on/off is a little lower.
The touch buttons at the bottom have changed in that the "back" button is now a split screen/open app button. The menu option is now a floating button but not always there.

The screen is brighter and clearer in the S6.
Camera is improved but easier to use in the S4 version.
Processor is fast but when downloading updates, it sometimes freezes.
Overall, I'd say it probably wasn't worth the cost to upgrade.

Cons: Did not meet expectations

I love the fast charge

Finally a device that I don't worry about how much battery is being used! This phone charges so fast, that I never worry about it anymore. It is quite a bit sturdier than my old galaxy and just as easy to use and interface with. I love it. I use it for work and the new security features are great as well.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight

Just upgraded to the Galaxy S6 Edge from the
Galaxy S5 on April 15th.
The difference is like night and day.

Moving into the S6

Let me start by saying how easy it was to move all my apps and data from my S4 to the S6 by using the "Smart Switch" app. Never before, has it been this fast and easy. Love the processor speed and the screen resolution. Still getting used to the headphone jack being moved to the bottom of the handset. It's an "old dog" problem. :) The camera is killer! Takes the best pictures, and has more picture controls than before. Love this phone.
