Not good!

We are not very happy with player, it takes forever to load anything and have the time it doesn't load. We have a great signal strength and nothing is working.

Purchased this product when I dropped directv. There price got out of hand and was a waste of money for what they delivered. I get all of the features that I want and your product sure is cheaper in the long run.

So far I've have purchased 2 Roku 3's and recently this Roku 2.. The quality of Roku is second to none streaming players. Sure I saved some money by opting for thr Roku2, but there was no skimping in features. I did a best friend a favor and him one of my Roku 3 streaming players as a gift. By adding an additional streaming player the costs of programs that already existed on my account didn't increase. So that is another plus.Forget cable services that are pricey. The value packed Roku streamers are great inflation fighters. RA.

Purchased this for a "dumb" TV so that I could access Amazon Prime on it. Ended up going with this over Fire TV b/c of the speed and access to content. There is no lag and it simply works. Looks pretty slick too. Don't have it mounted since it's sitting in the entertainment center with the TV and sound bar. One of the easiest devices to setup right out of the box.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features and commerical free steaming

I bought the Roku 2 four months ago. It has been one of the best investments I have made this year. We have access the all our retro shows and the newest in Netflix movies and series. The best part for me is that it is all commercial free. The on demand viewing is a plus, as well as, the ability to stop, start and rewind as needed. The variety of selections is never-ending. The more you use the Roku, the more it tailors to your interests. This brings you more options you will like, rather than wading through a "tv menu".

Great Streaming Device!

I cancelled my cable tv because time warner kept raising kept raising their rates and I got tired of calling to pretend like I was cancelling to get their best price. I needed a replacement for cable tv so I got a roku 2 based on the CNET recommendation and I'm glad I did. I don't have experience with other streaming devices and only have used my four year old samsung blu-ray player for netflix streaming. The roku 2 blows the streaming capabilities of my blu-ray player out of the water. It is much faster than my blu-ray player and has a huge variety of content. I highly recommend the roku 2.

Good features but it needs to be rest every week.

The Roku needs an On/Off option because I have to physically unplug it about every week because it will freeze or not load. Really dissatisfied with this issue.

Got this to replace my Roku 3 which kept buffering even though my wireless signal said excellent! Can't get the Roku 2 to work!
