Great TV

I purchased the Samsung UHDTV in December 2015, and the picture and resolution are fantastic. The audio enhancements are equally as good. The set-up was simple and connectivity to my wireless network was/is seamless. The features and functionality of the TV are also impressive. The Sports Mode option makes sporting events come to life and can be used effectively for other shows and movies.
The only area where better functionality is needed is with web integration. It's clunky using the remote to surf/navigate the web and some of the apps are difficult to use. There's a keyboard accessory you can purchase separate but in today's world it seems like the keyboard should be included with the TV.
Net-net - great product!, and for those who like their visual environment you'll be very pleased.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, easy to set-up
Cons: web integration not great

Missing APP

The only thing I am unhappy with is that it does not have a PLEX app. Your other TVS have this app but not this one.
There is also no way to adjust the sound, i.e. no way to change the bass.
Pros: Bright display

I upgraded from a 5 year old Samsung 55" LCD TV primarily to get the smart apps and not have to use my external device to stream Netflix and Amazon videos. I find that the TV picture size control does not work at all with the smart apps which makes it pretty useless if you want your video to fill the screen and not have black bars above, below and sometimes to sides of picture. Picture controls work just fine with external Blu Ray/DVD players using HDMI inputs. Since Samsung user manuals for this TV warn of burn-in problems if picture does not fill the screen, how can you avoid this if their smart apps don't have a controll to adjust picture size? If I am missing something, please let me know.

tv is only 5 months old and already need to have it repaired. not happy. loved the picture before it started having issues. The bottom half is darker then the top half. Eventually picture is uniform after 40 minutes of waiting. They just don't make things like the used to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great TV

Have had it for almost 2 weeks and really enjoyed it. Sports look great. Movies look amazing. Videogames on the PS4 look amazing. I couldn't be happier.

Without breaking the bank this TV is awesome. Super clear picture with easy to use features. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a great TV! Everything makes sense about it and works perfectly with our Dish TV service. I like that Samsung has also made numerous apps for PC's and Phones that also work with their TV's - such as photo/video sharing across devices, use your phone as a remote control, etc. Bought 2 Samsung TV's - 60" and 32" and both work great and use the same remotes (easy to remember the remote layout). Setup was perfect and very easy - these TV's just make sense!
Pros: great picture works perfectly everything makes sense and easy to figure out easy initial setup
Cons: no printed manual - have to read online. Would be nice to have a printed manual to refer to when learning all the TV has to offer. stand does not lift the TV very high so my soundbar in front of the TV blocks a little of the screen. This wouldn't be an issue for a wall mount.

HDTV first time setup

For us older people who don't know as much about technology, this is quite a challenge to get set up. As far as time, I have spent the entire afternoon getting things in place. The TV is awesome, but it requires a lot of info to get things going. Netflix is still not working right on this new TV. All my other TV's work fine except this new one. Netflix keeps re-buffering then says the TV isn't connected to the internet. When checking the hub it shows the TV connected to the internet. Have a Samsung account, activated. Everything I know to do has been done. Still can't get the Netflix to work. Frustrating to say the least. Will keep trying, while learning this new technology. I don't think we get near the services that are on these new technological devices. But that is the future for sure.
