Beautifully functional

I have owned this double oven for only two days but LOVE it already. Easy to use, and makes my cherry cabinets pop! It replaces another brand that never worked right in the 12 years I dealt with it because the boards shorted and they kept sending replacements that didn't work either!
Looking forward to many beautiful meals !

Really love all of the features of this oven. Others raised a concern about a long warm up time, but have not experienced that. Temperature control appears to be spot on. Very happy with it so far.

This is the best oven I've ever used! I love the option of convection, there's so many features that are wonderful. Proof option is perfect for rising dough.

Good product BUT.......

We bought this model GE double oven because it was highly rated by Consumer Reports. It works fine, as advertised. My complaints have more to do with the engineering of the oven. The hidden heating coils heat the entire oven box which takes longer than a regular oven with exposed coils. On top of that, this oven - and every other oven made - vents the heat back into the kitchen, which makes it unbearable when both ovens are on or you are using the self cleaning feature. The reason they don't vent outside is because in high rises they can't design vents to the exterior, so ALL the oven manufacturers decided to make only 1 type that vents to the kitchen. I consider this a design flaw from a homeowners perspective.

the stove takes a very long time to come to temp and there is a strange odor coming from the bottom vent of oven wall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
