I love the slate finish

I love the slate finish! I have had white, black and stainless finishes on my appliances and SLATE is the best by far. No prints, no streaks and easy to clean. Love Love Love it! The only reason this wall oven did not get a 5 is because it does not allow the temperature to be set at a lower than warm (170 degree) setting. I would like to see the ability to set temps at 70-100 degrees for bread rising or yogurt making. Other than that I LOVE my oven!

Excellent Wall Ovens For The $$$

Cooking is a breeze on these ovens especially the convection oven ... you get true and even temperature distribution which gives great cooking in the appropriate amount of time.

IT'S BEAUTIFUL. THE CONVECTION OVEN IS QUIET AND MAKES EVERYTHING EVEN BETTER. I'M GOING TO ENJOY BAKING AND ROASTING EVERYTHING. PIZZA'S COME OUT PERFECT.

It's like a grown up Christmas present!

After an exhaustive amount of research, I settled on this double oven and the sister appliances for our kitchen remodel. Let's start with appearance, which could not be better! The slate finish really does resist fingerprints and other annoying marks (unlike traditional stainless). After I had purchased the items for my kitchen, I began to get a little anxious about how the slate would look alongside my new cabinet colors (there were a very limited number of photos online, and I'm a visual person). I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the outcome, and I'm not sure what I was ever worried about.
To address the "noise level" and "heat"... I had read some reviews about the oven being really loud, but I would have to completely disagree. Also, I believe some mentioned an excessive amount of heat coming out of the oven, but that is also not an issue.
Baking and ease of use... The racks are sturdy with a design that makes pulling them in/out quite easy. Baking has been as expected with both ovens performing well. And of course, this is any baker's dream... having the option to prepare several dishes at the same time. Paired with the large GE Microwave, I can cook more things at one time than I'll probably ever need! Definitely like a grown-up Christmas for me :) Hope I'm still this happy with the appliances ten years from now.

Size is great, convection is wonderful -- but the thing I love most is the PROOF setting. I've never been able to get a good rise when making bread, and this does the trick. When I bought the oven I didn't even realize it had this feature.
