very disappointed with Sabbath mode

Before buying my new double wall oven, I was happily using a GE free standing range with a Sabbath mode. The ovens in the range were fine and the capacity was excellent. The Sabbath mode also worked beautifully. So, I gave it no thought when I moved and needed to replace the existing oven. I, of course, chose GE again. Although my new ovens work well as expected, the Sabbath mode has definitely been redesigned and does not satisfy me at all. This feature has been changed so that you can no longer turn the oven on when in Sabbath mode and then have it go off AUTOMATICALLY. You need to shut it off manually. I am extremely disappointed with my purchase because it does not fulfill my expectations. Although I would rate the ovens '5 star', the redesigned Sabbath mode lowers the overall rating to '2 star'.

Biggest mistake in purchasing a wall oven ever.

From inaccurate temperatures to multiple calls for repair to a touchpad that is overly sensitive to complicated combinations to make the oven turn off at a specific time, it simply does not compare with the old double-oven that it replaced.

SLOOOOOOW PREHEAT!!!

This model is pleasing to the eyes. But it takes ALMOST THREE TIMES AS LONG TO PREHEAT AS THE 10YR OLD MODEL THAT I HAD TO REPLACE! And it was a pain in the you know what to reset the time to the point that the technicians couldn't even do it. Unfortunately, GE doesn't carry a replacement glass panel or door which was all I needed. And this was the only replacement model allowed through my home warranty company, which took forever, but it was not the fault of GE. But you guys get a "0" for efficiency in this case, because now I have to wait longer and spend more time in the kitchen...bummer! So GE, you should add one of the options of choosing GE below as "Warranty Company Issue," because I only selected "Online Reccom" to get through your survey!

MAKES KITCHEN HOT

I had my double ovens installed last Saturday and I baked in it for the first time last night. Oh, my!!! Heat blows out from the bottom and makes the kitchen HOT! I previously had GE ovens but they did not blow so much hot air. I even turned on my stove exhaust fan and put a fan in front of the oven to blow away the HOT air--it did not help. It might be OK in the winter when I want the heat on, but during the summer it was awful! Wish I had my old ovens back again.

No Cook Time Button

Think of popping dinner in the oven and going off to run a quick errand? NOPE!!
There is a delay start but no cook time to turn it off. So feel free to set a delay time and leave but better be home to turn it off !!

Delay time + NO cook time - a combo that makes NO sense to me.

I've only had them installed for less than a month so far they work fine. The true test will be do they still work as well next year and the year after. That's when the review needs to be completed.
