I own an older model roku and love it. I decided to try the roku stick and it perform as I expected. Its a little slower than my older roku but it still does what I want it to do. Instead of plugging it directly to my tv, I plug it into one of my hdmi slots on my receiver so I can get the upgraded sound (i.e, 5.1,etc). I still have only have one cable going to my tv. If you want a good performing internet streaming device, I would recommend this device. No extra cords with great 5.1 & 7.1 without the extra cords.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just installed as streaming stick on an insignia tv. Works great already connected to Netflix and ready to go

If you watch TV, the Roku is the most for the least. Watch what you want to watch when you want to watch it. It's as simple as that. For 50 bucks, it's a gift that goes on giving. An investment in the future of TV watching that cannot be beaten. It has all of the power that a PC has, in fact, that's really what it is. A whole PC, miniaturized to fit in one's hand. But not just an ordinary PC because it's been optimized for high-end graphics, like a gaming computer. I simply cannot say anything bad about the Roku, even if I try.

Great device. I use it everyday. No complaints except for the fact it does not come with an extender. Does get tiresome to have to rearrange the input cables every time I use it because of the lack of space behind my TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Constantly "loading" not happy with it

I put it in my flatscreen and it streams for about 30 seconds the goes into a "re-load" - before you try blaming my network, I watch the same content on my tablet 5 feet away and it works. Frequently get "content not available " message, but again only on Roku. This thing was supposed to be plug and play, not plug and fail.

remotes don't work, sent back 2 systems

the system was a great idea. Being bed ridden,I was looking forward to the entertainment promised on Roku. But, it never work...I couldn't get past the jumping Roku logu. After being charged for 2 systems, return of two remotes, I feel that the system wasn't for me! sorry it didn't work. i now have only basic cable. Sigh, it's gonna be a long, boring winter!

Looses Connection to Wireless

I've had this about a year. It works fine when its connected. However, I've lost the connect 2x's now and it won't reconnect this time. I get error code 0009. It's frustrating . I've done all the resets and still nothing. And support wants to go in the router settings, even know all the other products connect just fine. It's not worth the continual trouble
