I purchased this item a month ago nd have been enjoying the results. Some of the programs ask for a subscription but its my choice or not.

I am so glad I gave up Comcast and Dish Network. Roku IS so much better and has a great variety of choices for much less cost. I am never bored with Roku.

Finally ditched the satellite

Got a great price because the new Stick was due to come out. Actually watching more TV now. Don't have to remember to set DVR. Shows are already there.
Only wish it would work with my universal remote.

I've had the Roku stick for the last 4 months and love the system. We also own a Roku TCL tv that has never given us any problems. The only issue I have had is with the remote to the Roku stick, after 3 months the remote stopped working and we have to use the Roku app from the Google Play store. I've attempted to reset the stick and remote at the same time but still won't work. Besides that we are happy with the decision we made to stick with the Roku brand.

Easy setup, difficult to use

I Bought the stick for HBO Now because I couldn't get it on PS 4. The setup is very easy with no real problems. The user interface is so slow and clunky. Sometimes freezes and you have to restart the stick.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought it specifically for on the go! We travel and we like to watch our favorite shows and movies and the streaming roku stick works fantastic for this purpose!
