We hardly watch cable anymore. However, the charger sent with the Roku has already stopped working. That's the only downside we have found with this. Love it!

Great Roku Stick

So a friend of mine told me about ROKU, she's had a box for about 2 years. I decided to cut the cable cord, as another reviewer below stated. So glad I did. I purchased my first Roku stick last night. It was very easy to set up the system. I can't believe all of the streaming channels, not to mention the reception is crystal clear. No complaints at this time, but I am still learning the system. Definitely beats the ridiculous price of cable tv.

Amazingly simple and effective

I just bought the new Roku stick and plugged it in to the HDMI input of my TV. Installation was simple and device gives me access to a wide variety of channels. I like the Roku app for mobile which lets you search any actor or movie or show by speaking into the microphone. No more slow typing on a clumsy keyboard for searches!

I love my new Roku streaming HDMI stick! No awkward box taking up space with a bunch of wires sticking out all over, & the streaming quality is awesome!

Did a bunch of research before buying, got it to stream MLB.TV so I don't have to shell out $60 each year for a XBox360 Live Gold Card. I don't mind that it takes time to boot up, I keep it plugged in (I knew it required power since I read that in the description of my review.) to a wall socket behind my TV so the cables don't show.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great streaming stick. Some of the negative reviews online stated that this version of roku was slow to load. I however don't feel that way at all. I have been really impressed with all the content. Well worth the $50 investment.
