Beware! The design can do negative things
on July 12, 2018

I had used this product for 3 or 4 years and thought I was doing myself a favor, but have found out, I was making things worse for myself. Essentially, this dual head is so big that it can be difficult to get the proper angle on trying to clean the back of the teeth. I was told after numerous cleanings that I was not doing a good enough job on the back of the teeth. I went back to the original spinning device and found it was a lot easier on my gums and cleaned on the back of my teeth much better.

Finding correct replacement parts too difficult

I was pleased enough with my Oral-B cross action tooth brush that I purchased Oral-B Dual Clean replacement brush heads. Cross action was not listed as incompatible toothbrush. However, the replacement package came with a handle and no instructions on how to separate it from the brush heads. Cross action instructions on internet do not have handles. Also, my cross action handle cannot be removed. A wasted purchase and frustrating going around in circles why this replacement purchase does not work.

Least favorite of all of the oral B brushes
on May 29, 2017

I thought I was really going to like this one, but it turns out this is my least favorite. It is too big, and only really works properly if you lay it on its side, like a manual toothbrush. Also, due to its large surface area, it is really easy to trigger the red light/ pressure sensor, when you don't want to. The round brushes are much easier to use and are more effective.

I feel I get a better cleaning with this Oral=B replacement head. My teeth feel smooth & actually sparkle. Even my dental appointments are shorter now, it doean't take long at all to clean my teeth.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible

There are several things wrong with the Oral-B Dual Clean Replacement Head. 1) The first, and most significant, is cost. It's like when the printer you're using is not that expensive, but the cartridges cost a lot. Oral B should not charge so much (and yes, since you're the manufacturer you set the price). 2) If you make an expensive product, you at least need to make it last. I try to make the heads last as long as possible, but the bottom section ALWAYS falls off, making me go get more. The bottom section SHOULD NOT fall off. Out of 6 replacement heads, 4 of the bottoms have fallen off. 3) Gunks up where you can't reach it to clean it.

changing replacement head
on August 25, 2014

Yes, I agree there is a problem changing a replacement head. If a tool came with the replacement heads I didn't see it. Why are replacement heads impossible to change without a tool, whereas the original didn't need one. Makes no sense.

My favorite toothbrush
on September 6, 2012
Posted by: whk109
Overall, I like everything about this toothbrush except for two things
1 - the handle turns black if I leave it on the shelf in the shower. 2 - the price is a little high
I've tried other brands but always come back to the Oral B
There was a tip with a long brush that helped clean under bridges and between teeth but it was pulled from the market before i could buy one.
Other reviewers state that it's hard to change the head but I've never had this problem. Maybe they didn't realize a tool comes with the replacement. I've had no build-up of toothpaste because I rinse it thoroughly after using it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

They fall apart before 3 months of use. I have had 2 of them fall apart one the forward brush and one the rear brush.
