Great Hallstrom Movie

It's got a great performance by Kevin Spacey with an awesome supporting cast including Pete Postlethwaite and Cate Blanchett. Parts of the story get a little slow, but still a great character driven story. Really interesting setting in Newfoundland, I've never seen any movie that took place in that part of the world. And of course Judy Dench is in top form.

With Kevin Spacey, Julianne Moore, Judi Dench, and Cate Blanchett you
would expect a better movie. It is slow in parts and you keep expecting it to get better. It is still worth watching but not a great movie.

How can you not have a pretty good movie with Kevin Spacey, Julianne Moore, Judi Dench, Cate Blanchett and Pete Postlewaite. Based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel from Annie Proulx. Just under two hours. Plug it in on a rainy weekend afternoon and enjoy.
