This product has a great 720p display with outstanding dynamic brightness and sharpness.

Picture Quality:
The display on this product can give an amazing 720p picture with great brightness settings and sharpness. What is especially wonderful about the display is that the default display settings are set for the Energy Star rated 'standard' mode (in which you may manually change to dynamic). The overall picture quality for this product is outstanding for a 720p display.

Audio Quality:
The audio on this product is able to decode Dolby True Sound and play on the built-in speaker. Although you can EQ the built-in speaker with the EQ setting on this display, the built in speaker has a distinct tinny sound (this being very noisy with multiple sounds at the same time). As movies are not very entertaining to watch with this product's built-in speaker, I recommend using a home theater system. This product only has optical output for an audio out, so you will need to make sure your audio system can use this. The product also has the setting to turn the built-in speaker off and use an external speaker. I have done so, and I have tried to turn Dolby multi channel on to send to me receiver (in which decides multiple channels), but the TV will not unless under specific and expensive conditions.

Practicability Quality:
This product is very practicable for the person that has two HD devices, a DVD player, and standard/antenna cable. This product is thin, lightweight, and energy-smart. Although, the stands that the manufacturer gives for the display are not good at all. They are very easy to let the TV wobble, this making the display only safe with something heavy on the legs.

Overall:
This product would be good for the beginner home-theater enthusiast, as the display is beautiful, but built-in audio would not be needed. Please look over all 720p display options before arriving at this product.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, terrible tin-sounding built-in audio, wobbles too much on manufacturer's base, does not have enough audio out options, is not suitable for those without stereo audio

This was a gift for my sister-n-law who is in a nursing facility in Bamberg, SC. S he was so thrilled when we brought the tv to her. Her other tv was very old and did not work very well. Every time my wife talks to her she goes on and on about how much she enjoys her new tv.
All my other TV's are Samsung always had great experience with this brand. Getting ready to purchase a 70" for my wife her vision has gotten worse so we have to get something bigger.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display

good basic TV. Only problem with Samsung is capacitors don't last.
